My background
Charity Elanie is a creative, spiritual writer, speaker, and guide whose work centers on healing, on authenticity, and unconditional love beyond religious performance. Raised as a Bishop's kid, Charity spent years navigating faith, silence, and self abandonment before stepping away from religious systems to reclaim wholeness, self-trust, and inner peace.
Her work, especially her books, speaks especially to those healing from religious trauma, emotional wounds, and distorted ideas of love by offering a compassionate, spiritually grounded approach without shame.
My writing roots
Grounded in truth telling, healing, and emotional depth, my writing roots come from a mix of lived experiences, my spiritual lens, and my desire to put words to the things others feel but do not always know how to say. A lot of my voice is rooted in making pain, love, identity, and growth feel both honest and accessible. My writing comes from a place of wanting people to feel seen, feel challenged, and gently guided back to themselves.
